D69. A 19th century ormolu mounted desk set with a fine micro-mosaic panel depicting the Pantheon in Rome.
This particularly fine quality piece has a shaped black marble base supported by finely executed gilded figures. There are attractively shaped engraved and gilded inkwells to either side with a similarly decorated central box, the lid of which contains a very fine micro-mosaic picture of the pantheon. £3,500.
